Aims and motives of the Uni-coms

Unitarian Communicators (formaerly UCCN) was set up following a seminar of District Publicity Co-ordinators/Officers in Ludlow in 1998 where it was felt that there was a need for such an organisation. This was followed by 7 conferences at Great Hucklow that now occur annually, normally in February.

Agreed aims of Uni-coms

To be a Network of Communications Co-ordinators within the movement to exchange information, skills and resources.

To give each other advice, support and encouragement.

To raise the profile of the Unitarian movement.

To provide active support for Essex Hall (Unitarian HQ).

To improve the profile of publicity and communications work within the movement.
